This woman standing in the clouds with a divine light shining on her. My working title of Baptism is to signify that we are born to a new life in Our Lord Jesus Christ. Having finished the Monotone painting I will now proceed to put the layers on. This woman was inspired from an original sketch of Andrew Loomis. I just love this pose which reflects and openness and acceptance. Hope you enjoy the progress of this painting.
